About Melissa

Originally from Allentown, PA. I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in psychology and minors in honors and communication. At Villanova, I worked as a research assistant in 2 labs: the Social Self lab and the Temporal Perception lab. In the Temporal Perception lab, I worked under Dr. Matthew Matell studying the temporal component of drug craving. The work in that lab inspired me to pursue a career in addiction neuroscience research, and in the future I plan to attend a Ph.D program for that.
