About Arthur

Arthur Thomas graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a concentration in neurobiology. As an undergraduate student Arthur’s research focused primarily on spatial learning and memory. Some of the projects he was involved with include the differential effects of sleep deprivation on spatial learning in young and old mice as well as the effects of class I HDAC Inhibitors on fear conditioning. Arthur is currently pursuing his interest in the neuroscience of addiction while working on several of the ongoing projects in Pierce lab. Arthur completed a pre-medical education while at Penn and plans to attend medical school in the coming years.
